Selection of 6 fine wines coming from Venice and surroundings. Four are coming from the Quality Wine District (D.O.C.) of Lison Pramaggiore (Eastern Venice) and the other two are both from Treviso (about 15 miles from Venice).
One is based on organic grapes (AMICITIA by Carline).
Three are Chardonnay (HORA SEXTA by Mosole, AMICITIA by Carline and STAJNBECH by Borgo Stajnbech).
One is a crossbred (SAN DORDI by Casa Roma).
One is based on Lison (former Tocai) typical white grapes of Eastern Venice (JUTI by Bosco del Merlo).
One is a sparkling wine (PROSECCO by Col Vetoraz)
– 1 – HORA SEXTA BIANCO – IGT BIANCO DEL VENETO ORIENTALE
Tenuta Mosole, San Stino di Livenza, Venice
Grapes: Chardonnay 100%
Maturing: after fermentation in barriques (225 lt oak Allier) and than into the barriques for nine months with weekly “batonage”
Sensorial Features: It has an intense yellow colour and an aroma of mature fruit with a trace of banana, pineapple and citrus. To taste it is full and has a well structured body with a long persistent finish.
Serving Temperature: 12° – 14° C.

Maturing: Mellowing in barriques
Sensorial Features: This elegant wine is made from chardonnay grapes; it has a pale yellow colour with notes of ripe fruit, bread crusts and vanilla, due to the fermentation in small oak casks. Slightly spicy, sober and ethereal
Gastronomic Matches: Excellent with fish baked in foil or roast or with white meats.

Grapes: 100% Tocai Friulano produced in old vineyards.
Maturing: grapes coming from low production old vineyards and harvested a little bit later. Steel tank maturing and 4 months in bottle.
Sensorial Features: pale yellow coloured with warm golden hues, intense Bouquet with fruity and floral notes, typically supple tasted, long persistence and elegant almond scent.
Gastronomic Matches: Excellent with savoury first courses, with fish dishes and white meat.
